The OFFs are the images in which The Cleaning Men extends beyond its initial framework.
 
Since 2019, the project has invited men to pose nude in their own homes while carrying out domestic tasks. Through this setup, male nudity encounters the everyday domestic sphere, bringing questions around the body, gender roles, vulnerability and desire to the surface.
 
But some images emerge elsewhere.
 
They arise during the sessions, in those moments when the setup loosens, the pose becomes less predictable, and the participants engage differently with their bodies, the space or the objects around them. A gesture, an attitude, an improvised staging can suddenly shift the image.
 
The OFFs do not seek to extend the project according to a new set of rules. Rather, they reveal its points of escape: what happens when the initial framework leaves enough room for something else to emerge.
 
The body becomes a space for play. It can reveal itself, hide, transform, subvert the codes of masculinity, or simply play with the gaze of the person photographing it.
 
Desire can shift too. It is not necessarily where we expect it to be: in seduction, in eroticism, but also in play, experimentation, and the freedom to reinvent oneself.
 
The OFFs are these moments: images that escape the frame and open up other possibilities.
